Nikoletta is striving to become an international change maker in Protocol: a researcher, innovator, professor, leader and author who has been involved in various fields of international relations for nearly three decades – during which she has gained over 20 years of experience working for prominent State-, Governmental, Diplomatic, Sport and Corporate Leaders at high-level events and also at the biggest European and World Championships as Chief of Protocol. Having travelled to over 70 countries she has gained valuable multilateral work experience leading to her deep understanding and appreciation for intercultural awareness.
Building on her four Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Protocol, International Relations and Translation, Nikoletta received a summa cum laude Ph.D. degree in 2023 in Sport Diplomacy and Sport Protocol upon successfully defending the first known academic dissertation quantifying and justifying the role of protocol in diplomacy. This year, she was elected a Public Board Member of the Political Science Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
As an Associate Professor teaching at universities for over 20 years, she founded Hungary’s only International Protocol and Sport Protocol Postgraduate Programmes, thanks to her dedicated work there are now hundreds of professionals utilizing these Degrees.
As Protocol Trainer at the National Diplomatic Academy – she is preparing appointed diplomats and ministry employees for their missions. Her six Books in Protocol and Diplomacy are the most sought after readings in the country.
Nikoletta is also a lead example of pro bono work: she is the Founding President of the Organisation of International Protocol Professionals, Founding Member of World Protocol Organisation; Founder of the Protocol and Diplomacy Exhibition, Founder and CEO of World Protocol Magazine, Director of World Protocol School, brainchild of World Protocol Matters Conferences and initiator of 11 May World Protocol Day – all her endeavours are dedicated to unify the global protocol industry, to reach UN recognition, to elevate and celebrate each and every protocol professional working towards peaceful interaction and proving day after day that Protocol, indeed, matters.
